Building Surveying Solutions was established in 2004 by Sean Oragano and Guy Dobson. Like-minded individuals, their aim was to successfully establish a business that offers their clients a personal and professional service.

The company has grown since 2004 with the employment of additional professional staff, purchasing of non destructive testing equipment, monitoring equipment and CAD package.

We continue to offer the same quality service to all our clients at reasonable and competitive fees.

Building Surveying Solutions goal is to provide a high quality service which is tailored to the individual and is not focused solely on fee structures and billable hours. Just like the old adage, Building Surveying Solutions believe in putting quality before quantity.

What is meant by the term “Chartered Building Surveyor”? Well, a Chartered Building Surveyor, or a Chartered Surveyor, is a surveyor who is actually qualified. Unfortunately the term Building Surveyor is not a protected title therefore anyone, even with no qualifications or experience, can call themselves a Building Surveyor. Only Surveyors with a formal education, subsequent training post university, additional exams and who have successfully passed their professional interview can call themselves “Chartered Surveyors”. This training principle is applicable for most professionals such as architects, engineers, accountant, doctors etc who must undergo professional training post university.
